Online Forms and Hearing Lists
10 March 2021
On 25 February 2021, the President provided an update to the Law Society of South Australia Forum. Part of that update highlighted the following changes to SAET forms and website hearings lists.
iApply (Online) Forms
From 1 April 2021, where an online SAET form is available (eg all Return to Work Act initiating application forms), applicants will be required to make their applications using the online iApply form rather than with PDF or Word forms.
This initiative was flagged in 2019 when out new Case Management System was introduced. The major benefits of the iApply forms include:
- Validating questions and logic are built-in which reduces the need for follow-up
- iApply forms are mobile phone and tablet friendly
- Tribunal users lodging the form can save their partially completed form and return to it at a later time
- Tribunal users lodging the form will receive a PDF including the details of the completed form for their reference.
Where an online form is available, after 1 April 2021 the old PDF and Word forms will not be received.
More online SAET forms will be rolled out throughout the year.
Searchable Online Hearing List
Currently, the listing of scheduled hearings and conferences are only made available one day in advance.
In the coming months, we will be updating the website to enable the public to search future hearings and conferences into the future.
