Long service leave disputes

Applications can be made to SAET:

  • to seek an exemption from provisions of the Long Service Leave Act 1987 (section 9)
  • to review a SafeWork SA inspector’s notice in relation to an application for long service leave under the Long Service Leave Act 1987 (section 12)
  • to seek long service leave where it has been not granted or the payment of long service leave entitlements where it has not been paid under the Long Service Leave Act 1987 (section 13)
  • to review a decision of the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Board under the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Act 1987 (section 34)
  • to review a decision of an industry board under the Portable Long Service Leave Act 2024 (section 54)
  • by an industry board to seek an imposition of a civil penalty in respect of a contravention of the provisions of the Portable Long Service Leave Act 2024 (section 56)
