The South Australian Employment Tribunal (SAET) is seeking a Deputy Registrar. This is a senior leadership role assisting the Registrar in the day-to-day management of the Tribunal and exercising statutory functions as required.
SAET is South Australia’s forum for resolving workplace-related disputes and issues including work related injury disputes (Return to Work) and employment and industrial disputes. SAET responds to and resolves disputes quickly, with minimal formality and cost, while promoting the best principles of decision-making. This key role will report to the Registrar and support the operations of the Tribunal Registry.
This role is critical to the administration of the Registry, being responsible for day-to-day case management, staff management financial management, records and relationship management. The Deputy Registrar will be an experienced manager with impeccable personal integrity, a demonstrated commitment to fairness and excellent interpersonal skills. It is critical that applicants are familiar with the nature and complexities of the legal system.
A law degree and/or experience at a senior level in a court or tribunal is highly desirable. Applications should be received no later than 5pm, 9 March 2020.
