SAET Facilities Works 2026
SAET is undergoing facilities works at the Riverside Centre from August to November 2026.
SAET will continue to operate with the safety of its staff, members and users maintained as the top priority.
The location of conferences scheduled during the works may need to change. Some will be conducted by video or telephone while some may be relocated to a different room on level 7. If the location of your conference or hearing changes, you will be notified. You can also confirm the location on the Today’s hearings and Future hearings pages on the SAET website and on the case list screens onsite.

High-level program
Impacts during works
Level 6
Works on level 6 will take place during September to November. The floor will not be accessible during that period.
Any proceedings scheduled for level 6 during this period will be relocated to either video, phone or level 7.
Level 7
Works on level 7 will take place in August into early September. Temporary hoarding will be in place in a section of the waiting area and Hearing room 2 will not be accessible during this period.
It is expected that there will be an increase in the number of people and proceedings on level 7 while works are undertaken on level 6.
Noise
While noisy and disruptive works will be kept to a minimum during public hours, some noise and increased contractor presence is anticipated. If you have any concerns, please raise with SAET staff.
What is changing?
The works will deliver the following changes.
Level 6
- 4 additional conference rooms
- Increase size of room 6H
- Improved audio-visual equipment
- Room booking displays across the floor
- Updated reception/security
Level 7
- Permanent security arrangements in waiting area
- Flexible meeting table arrangement and upgraded audio-visual equipment in Hearing room 2
- Room booking displays across the floor
